We have kittens!

Born late Sunday or early Monday. Boy was I shocked! Sadly there was a fourth who didn't make it.

This was what I discovered when I opened the cat house on Monday morning! Had I know they were coming, I would've cleaned and put down a new towel. Poor kitties, born in filth.

Meet Pumpkin Pie (orange and white, on top), Nilla (middle), and Sugar (being used as a pillow, bottom). They were in this little box with a t-shirt while I cleaned their house. Cleaned, new hay, new towel. Happy sleepy kitties.

Those kittens are so precious! There's just something so sweet about newborn kittens. I love the names you chose for them! I was sorry to hear the 4th one didn't survive.

Blessings,

Thanks Michelle for leaving a comment and explanation about honey bees. Very interesting.

The beekeeper was winding down his operation and is no longer keeping bees for honey. My husband bought a case of honey from him every year. This man makes wine for sale in huge quantities and sells it to the Liquor Commission and also has a profitable framing business to keep him busy.

Good luck with your beekeeping adventure. By the way, how are the kittens doing. They are so adorable. JB
