I was very happy to send out a package to a customer yesterday (I forgot about the holiday on Thursday, so embarrassed). I read a lot on the etsy forums how packaging is very important, and I do admit that I have received some gifts that I haven't wanted to open because the wrapping was done so nicely. I chose pink and white Cotton Candy Divine Twine and a flower and button tag from another etsy seller, Endless Inkabilities, to add to my packages after wrapping in white tissue paper. Here is a picture.
How important is packaging to you? How do you like to wrap your gift packages, either personal or business?
I guess I better do something productive now. : )

When I receive a package in the mail, the most important thing to me is that the content is secure and not damaged and that the address is correct so that it gets to me in a timely fashion. I care less for the pretty as opposed to the sturdy.
Now, if it's a gift that I carry myself to give to someone, I use a gift bag with pretty tissue paper and a card. If I was crafty like you I probably would add a homemade decoration on the bag and make my own card but I'm not that crafty.
I hope that you had a crafty day Michelle. JB
Your little button flower embellishment is very cute but would have to be inside the package. But then what does one do with it?
Hmmm, I would probably glue a magnet to the back and put it on the fridge, or just leave the twine attached and hang it from a peg, but I love little things like that. My husband calls it junk. :)
You know the saying, One man's junk is another man's treasure. lol... JB
